Welcome on in!

My name is Amber, and on Twitch and YouTube you can find me as AmberWixx.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Physics, but shortly after I got my degree, my life took a drastic turn when I decided I wanted to start producing content on YouTube. I started playing video games and posting videos in the fall of 2021, and started livestreaming on Twitch in the spring of 2022. The reason I started online content creation was simple: I always talked to myself while playing video games anyways, so why not bring along an audience?

My content quickly shifted to being exclusively horror games, with a focus on the popular ghost hunting game: Phasmophobia. In this game, I get to live out my dream of investigating haunted locations (though, this one gets to be a little bit too harrowing when the ghosts attempt to kill me in the game). 

All of my life, I have had an interest in the things that send shivers up your spine. I love visiting old graveyards, and spooky churches that no longer look as though they were places of worship. I have a passion for photography, and most of my photo shoots would revolve around abandoned locations and dark themes. For a photography class in high school, I even did a haunted amusement park photo shoot. 

But, up until now, I have left the ghost hunting to the video games I play on stream. However, I feel the pull to go out and explore more, and I want to share that experience with all of you, my beautiful audience. By visiting this site, you are joining me in an incredible learning experience as I try new things, try different techniques, and visit new locales.
